I bought this trike for my autistic son because he had issues riding a normal bike. He had difficulties with balance and falling off. He wants and loves to ride a bicycle. I introduced the trike to him and he fell in love with it. He rides it everyday and enjoys it so much. It is very durable and I would recommend it to any parents having issues with their autistic child and riding a normal bicycle.
wow he can ride . he is 10 and wanted to so bad ride bike I run and run next to the regular bike till I could not breath. well he is so happy . we are going n an outing to park to ride this weekend I probably should wait to write a review cause I wish to see how I d I have heart trouble was supprised to find I can get on this and sit rather comfortable and I was able to get up from it. the steering seems weird to me but Leo picked it up fine so I imagine I will eventually catch on. I am a grandma though LOL but I sure going to give it a try I already know I do better than with regular bicycle. just may have to buy another really soon I never believed I would be able to ride bikes with him!
Superior product with excellent engineering. When I looked at some of the criticisms I was reluctant to buy. I made all the mistakes published in the reviews. Then I went back and REALLY read the instructions. All problems corrected rides perfectly. I additional tip. Be sure to use loctite on EVERY threaded part you assemble. Solves all problems. When assembling fenders, loctite the shaft and HOLD the fender in alignment while tightening the nut.0 As an aside, I would suggest that you market some accessories for the recumbent bike. Everyone makes "handlebar" accessories, but, almost everything won't work on the Triton. ie The Tote you sent was greatly appreciated and with some small mods to to handle I get the perfect rear carrier. I am enclosing some pics of mods I have made.
