We bought this for our 18 year old daughter who has developmental delays and she absolutely loves it! Her dad even rode it and he's 6'6" and 215 pounds and he said it was a lot of fun. I have recommended it to all of her friends that she's in Special Olympics with because it is an easy bike to maneuver and ride. Couldn't be happier with it at this point.
This bike arrived in a box & was a bit tricky to put together, I ended up taking it (and another bike from overstock.com) to a local bike shop for them to put together for me. The instructions on this bike were very very hard to read & some of the brake lines were tricky to put together. The instructions read: "If this is a model that needs an Allen wrench, use it to....." I have an Allen wrench but don't know too much about putting bike brake lines together. In the end, after paying the guys at the local bike shop to put it together, I still feel like I got a great bike for my kid at a fairly good price.
My 5 year old granddaughter is so excited. She went from her first bike that had her knees hitting her chin to this one. Her mother was able to put it together in about 15 mins with no instructions (instructions included were for an adult bike not at all the same), and off she went. It's a tiny bit too big, but she can still ride it and will grow into it soon. It should last through quite a few growth spurts. I'm happy with the quality, she's happy that she can keep up with her friends and ride to school.
