"Will this product work in an above ground pool?"
I purchased a refurbished aquabot about 4 years ago. I use it to clean the pool side of a pool/spa combo. It cleans every bit of leaves and needles in the pool. Its amazing every time the pool is cleaned with nothing left on the bottom of the pool. I've had no problems with it since purchasing the cleaner, and it's still working!

Pool Robot is NOT good.
It does a wonderful job cleaning the pool. As this is my second one - I knew what to expect as far as how well it works. BUT - the quality of the product has gone right downhill. The plastic is the hard brittle kind that will crack easily. Also - I have only used it two times so far and the plastic casings that connect the wires (blue cords) has already started to split and I have had to duct tape them to keep them together. Not sure if I would spend my money on this product again.

The aquabot cleaners are not recommended for Above-Ground pools. They are made for pools that are much larger than most above ground pools. Plus, they will filter about 4500-5000 gallons per hour which is too much for an above-ground pool.
