  • Amazing

This is way better than cleaning it myself. Plug it in let it go and come back when its clean. The cord tangles a lot though. They need to release a new style cord that doesn't tangle.

Works like a charm.....picks up even little specs of dirt on the bottom I couldn't even see. You will be amazed the first time you use it and pull off the collection bag, what is in there...

  • A fabulous, work-horse cleaner!

This is my second Aquabot Hybrid Pool Rover, and I am sure that it will not be my last. I have an enormous (16-foot by 32-foot) above-ground pool, which is surrounded by trees and remains uncovered, 365 days of the year. As a result, there are always leaves, insects, and other naturally-occuring debris in the water. The summers are particularly brutal, because the rainy season causes our trees to grow and shed leaves like crazy...and this little machine picks up everything! I had a previous Pool Rover, and ran it at least once daily for two and a half years. Eventually all of that hard work (and me leaving it out in the Florida elements more often than I should have) caused the power cord to break. I chose to buy a new Pool Rover rather than replacing the power cord, though I'm sure the little Aquabot would have kept working if I had chosen to change the cord. It takes the little Aquabot about 20-30 minutes to clean the bottom of my pool. At the end of the cleaning cycle, I just empty the bag and hose off the smaller debris, and it is ready to run again. When the pool is full of leaves, I will often run it twice, because it picks up so much debris that the bag has to be emptied...the Rover will automatically stop itself once the debris bag is full. It really does an amazing job. It even "climbs" the walls of the pool, to get debris closer to the top! Some advice for new owners: 1) Get extra debris bags. This way you can switch out a full one and wash it while you run the Rover again. Overstock has additional bags for sale. 2) Change the "direction pin" on the front of the Rover at least every few times you run it. It will keep the power cord from becoming tangled. 3) Buy a "pool noodle" and cut it length-wise, and use it to cover part of the power cord. The cord itself is insulated against water, but the noodle will give it extra protection and buoyancy, helping to keep it from tangling. I didn't do this previously, but have started with my new Aquabot, and I think it will keep my little Pool Rover working hard for a longer period.

  • Robby does a good job

I have a 30x15 above ground oval pool. I had tried the small lady bug cleaners that you hook up to the pump and they never did a good job...didn't reach everywhere or the suction collapsed the hose. This one is very easy to use and convenient. Plug it in...plop it in the pool and pull it out in a couple hours when it stops. Remove the filter bag..rinse and you are done. Does a very good job covering the whole pool.

I used the aquabot rover for the first time this past weekend. It worked great! It picked up all the leaves, straw and most of the algee in my pool. It was so much easier than standing there with a pole and doing the vacuuming by hand. The rover did all the It is worth every PENNY I paid for it. But what I paid at was far less than what I would have paid at the pool store close to my home. I am very satisfied with this product. Thanks.

  • No more spending hours vacuuming

If you have the extra $$ to spend I would highly suggest this product. No more loss of suction and backwashing your filter when you vacuum. This little robot sucks up everything in its path without connecting to a pump. When having a pool party, I could throw this in the pool an hour before people come and spend my time doing something more productive. It leaves the pool crystal clear. In the fall, I had 1 day to close the pool before leaving for vacation. In the morning I took off the cover (bottom of pool was a layer of leaves) and raked out as many leaves as I could by hand (we have a lot of very large trees surrounding our pool). I put in the pool rover and drained the pool at the same time and left for work. I came home for lunch and it was almost clean. I dumped the leaves out of the bag and turned it on for another cycle. By the time I got home from work all we had to do was add closing chemicals and put on the winter cover. Best pool purchase so far!
