I got this as a Gift for my Daughter-in-law. She loved it. My Son is helping her learning to fly it. The only little down side is it do not auto turn left or right. It can with a little know how, which takes a little skill. Other than that, it's a very Cool Helicopter. The best advantage, it's almost unbreakable! Plus, it has some extra parts that comes with it. We were pleased! Thanks OS.
The size of this quadcopter is perfect. It is small and easy to handle with a lovely remote control. The flights are controlled and the machine can venture into tight places. Highly recommended.
I got a chance to try this when one of my fellow RC nerds in our RC group ordered one. It handles just as well as the other Hercules Copters I've tried. The built in gyro works pretty well and its super tough and survived a couple of rough crashes. It has an LED headlight and glows in the dark real well but you have to be careful flying it and doing the normal tricks outside at night. Just because you can see the copter doesn't mean you can see everything around it that it can bump into. If you aren't outside in an open field its best to use this indoors in a big living room or something. The hand controller fits in your hand pretty well. Even smaller children had no problem controlling this one. And it does come with a spare set of blades in case you bust while getting the hang of moving this little beast around in the dark. I do with it had more LEDs on it, multicolored ones to but that might take away from its flying time. Yeah more of the nerds in our group will picking one of these up as a goodtime was had by all.
Looks like a fun toy but not for a beginner. Controls were very touchy and difficult to use and control flight. Would buy for someone used to using remote control devises. Age should be probably 10 and over
