This is not for a beginner. Three of the balls broke off in the first 5 minutes. More broke off as I continued to use it. I ended up taking all of them off breaking a few more. I feel I just wasted my money of this one.

I should have listened to the other reviews this product is hard to put together it easily breaks and the poor design leaves bruises on your torso. I suggest a normal weighted hula hoop. Once you drop this one the little pods pop off and break. I wonder why they didn't put these things on the outside of the ring that way it wouldn't come on contact with you. Wasted money.

  • Horrible Item

    1. Product is INFERIOR; Each inner magnetic ball must be assembled and then snapped in to the frame. 2. 60% of the balls do not remain snapped in to the frame once hoop is used, they immediately fly off once hoop comes in contact with body 3. Cost of item is $20 BUT to return it Overstock charges you a FEE of $7.45 to PRINT return label, so you'll only be credited less than $13. for this useless piece of junk

I was extremely dissapointed, It took me days to connect the pieces, they were super hard, and when finally finished and I was very happy to start playing, it was painfull and immediately disambled itself, flew in pieces! I assembledd it again and once again, it keeps disambling itself, totally not worth it, I did not returned it just because I went on vacation, and no time. NOT recommended. Sorry, poor enginnering quality.

This is a great hula hoop although I have come to the realization that I'm not as awesome at hula hooping as I once thought I was. My son was in tears watching me, but as God is my witness, I will get better. It is an excellent workout (or will be once I master it, currently, it is just a painful contraption that especially likes to bang my knees on its way down to the floor) oh and be warned, it comes in about a million pieces - be sure you put it together properly or it falls apart...I learned the hard way.

  • Hula Hoop

After putting it together, which was not an easy task. I really like it. It does feel different than a normal hoop, but it is large, and sometimes feels...uh...bulky. But it does do the job and is fun to work with. I just make sure no one is watching....

Despite the defective parts where the magnets are housed, i love the product. Waste is slimmer. Initial bruises were pretty impressive from never having anything working the torso area like this, however they were just "initial" and now have gone. Awesome work out and so easy to have fun with. 2 friends have bought them and they love them too.

The product comes in pieces and you have to put it all together including the 'massage balls with magnets'. I'm not really complainting about having to put it all together but more how difficult it was to snap the plastic massage balls together after placing the magnet in the ball. It took 4 people some using teeth and some using pliers to get it together. It works though, my mom who cannot keep a hula hoop up was able to use it but I recommend a waist cinch/belt to protect your mid section if you're sensitive. the massage balls really do 'massage'.

  • parts missing and hard to put together

I ordered one for my daughter as part of her xmas gift and the box was torn apart. I returned it in exchange for another one. I was sent another one; however the box was no better but due to the time frame of xmas I wrapped it and placed it under the tree. My son tried putting it together for her on xmas day and after an hour of actual labor, we realized that not all parts were there. I got soooooo disgusted that I threw it in the garage. I have been trying to call overstock but did not get through. At this point I see it as being out of twenty somewhat dollars.
