This item is very poor quality half the boards cracked just assembling the item with a screw driver mind you I am 110 lb female I dont have much strength so the quality was very poor. This says for a large rabbit well the with and length are not bad but the ramp to get up and down is only sized for a small rabbit and flimsy. This item was a total waste of my time and money.

  • safe place for our bunny

Our part indoor, part outdoor bunny likes this hutch (maybe better than our living room). The top right area is good for him for shelter in cold weather and for predators. If/when he is outside during the day, he loves to take a "sunbath" on the lower level. A few weeks ago, a hawk noticed him in his hutch and landed next to the hutch and tried to get to him by rattling on the wire with his beak. Thank goodness the wire mesh is very sturdy and the hawk gave up and has never been back. Something to be aware of when you buy a hutch for an outside pet. That said, we still wired all the entry points with extra wire, just to be sure, also because bunny likes to chew. After 1/2 year, no damage!

I have already recommended this cage to several of my friends who have rabbits. We all love it! It was delivered in about a week and was fairly easy to put together. Lots of room for my two bunnies and the enclosed cubby is great during storms and in winter. There is alot of storage in the roof. Just be cautious about the number of doors and check to make sure they are all secured at night.
