Our granddaughter's rabbit and our grandson's guinea pig really love it to get their cages and so do we. They can run around and we don't have to worry about them getting out, BUT do Not leave them alone especially you have dogs/cats! Remember this is a collapsible pen and it is not hard out all for the bigger animals to get in but with supervision it is a very good product.
This cage looks as described but when we received it two of the plastic parts were broken. It was relatively easy to put together, but the broken parts definitely affect the usefulness of the item. Our ratties are not able to be on the top or 3rd shelves because they won't hold their weight (because of the broken parts). Other than that, it's a good and good looking cage.
I bought this for my chinchilla and it is twice as big as the cage we adopted him in. My 19 year old son put it together and had a bit of trouble with the directions. He had to re-do it a few times, and he is an engineering student! But once it was put together it was awesome. The ramps are flimsy plastic and my chin tends to knock them down. I added wood ledges to the cage that made it nice so I will add wood ramps too. The platforms are plastic but they are thicker. He hasn't chewed any of it yet but if he does I will replace it with wood. The cage itself it very nice. I like the wide doors and latches. I like that there was not a wire crate on the bottom, just a tray. It would have been nice for the bottom to have a ledge so litter doesn't fall out on the floor. It's not too bad. I like the wheels and it moves around nicely. The rack on the bottom is handy for putting pet supplies on. It appears to be a sturdy cage for our chinchilla. We have only had it about 3 weeks but so far so good. I would buy it again.
