Older dog with arthritis, he has an expensive orvis bed that he usually sleeps in but had been sleeping on a thin carpet when he wants to sleep in my room. He is picky & had rejected an orthopedic foam block I had bought him, he likes to snuggle into a bed with sides. He's already jumped into this bed & seems to like it fine. The foam on the sides is great, but no padding on the bottom of the bed. The cushion on this bed is quite thick though, so offers enough support & softness. If it flattens out over time I may need to add some more layers in with towels, etc. The bed itself & cushion aren't really terry, more of a thin fake fur. It's fuzzy and my dog likes it.
I bought 4 of these for my little senior small dogs. I was looking for the smallest bed I could find that I could remove the cover to wash, and a separate little pillow bottom. My little ones love them -- finally a bed they can curl up and snuggle into instead of crowding me in bed.
This bed is so soft, and it was such a good deal! You always hear of people spending tons of money on a pet bed and their pet never uses the it. My puppy sleeps in his bed every night.
