  • Not good for paws..

These resemble heavy duty balloons,or maybe little rubber/plastic condoms for your dogs paws. They were difficult to put on and although my dog is used to socks she did not like the way these felt on. I use doggie-socks to protect my dogs paws from ice and snow but these offer no padding and became stiff in the cold so in the trash they went.

  • NOT a basic balloon

I have spent major money on boots for my basenji. All of the Velcro type dog boots will eventually come off in deep snow and the Velcro gets worn out. These are shaped like a balloon but they are not latex and do not have the powder inside like cheap balloons. These are quality rubber and very safe for your precious dog. Yes, they are disposable and will after many many uses need to be tossed. You do get a pack of 12 so three sets. For the money, they are well worth it. They never come off until I take them off. Waterproof 100%. It does take some a few attempts until you learn how to easily stretch the opening around your pooch's paw and bam you got your dog well protected against snow, ice, salt and other dogs' messes that lazy dog owners don't pick up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this item. As of right now, I have 10 packs in my basenjis surplus of gear. Why 10? Because they are that good!!!!

  • Green balloons, anyone?

You would be better off buying a bag of 100 small baloons for a buck because that is basically what these are - and about as hard to put on as a balloon would be. I didn't even bother to try. Don't waste your money.
