  • My cats love it!
    Verified Purchase

I managed to build this with just a little help from one of my kids in about 30 minutes. Before I could finish it, one of my 2 cats was trying to get in it. Both of my cats are quite large, but they fit in the little "house" part just fine. When they are both jumping up and down the cat tree does wobble a bit, so it is not as steady as I had hoped. But considering their size and since this doesn't seem to bother them at all, I am satisfied with my purchase and for the value I got. I placed the tree near a window and I come home every day to find at least one cat on the top looking out the window or sleeping comfortably. The best part is that now my 6 month old puppy can't harass the cats as much he was before; I am sure the cats appreciate this!

I ordered the tree for my cat because we have a house full of dogs. they always mess with her litterbox and food. This tree has a lower shelf that holds her litterbox, and the top shelves are large enough for her food dishes and for her. The shelves are high enough, and sturdy enough to support all the weight and keep everything off the floor, out of the dogs reach. The $1.00 shipping was suppose to take 5-10 days, but I had it in only 2 days. FANTASTIC!!

Aside from being extremely confusing to assemble(even my Dad had trouble and he can build anything),this thing is fantastic.Make sure you have a large space for it because It,Is,Huge.I have a 23 lb.cat and he now can get up inside this house. He was not able to scale the previous one.You could have a mountain lion and they would fit on this.Great piece.

  • Wobbly but Effective
    Verified Purchase

Our cat is 13 pounds and we needed something big enough for him to jump on. The house is big enough for him. The toy fell off on the 3rd day. It held up pretty good, it's easy to clean. We had to put boards on either side to ensure stability.

  • Not steady.

This cat tree is absolutely huge! It takes almost a quater of my little bedroom. The material that covers the shelves is not a carpet, it resembles material that is used for stuffed toys, its very thin and not too durable. The stand itself weighs 75 lb. it came in just one box and several pieces were broken as the packaging does not have any type of protecting foam or even a bubble wrap in it. So as the shelves came broken i had to glue them together before putting it up. The shelves are made out of thin pressed wood and under the weight of the cat kinda sagging down, so i had to find smth to put under them in order to hold them and protect from sagging and cracking. The poles are well made and well wrapped. The house is very large, probably 2 grown cats can fit in it. Also the tree is not very stable, it shakes and feels like will fall over or break apart every time my cat jumps on/ off it. next time ill probably invest in smth that is way smaller but way better in quality.

  • Makes me wish I was a cat

Never had a cat tower before so did a lot of reading up. GoPetClub had a good rep. Wasn't sure what to expect, but am thrilled with product. Very sturdy, easy to assemble (just under 30 minutes from box to final set up). The cats were climbing on it during construction and quickly made it their own. The fabric cover seems durable and the sisal is tightly wrapped. One nice thing about this design is that you can kind of make it your own. My cats weren't using the upper perch, so I switched it with the little platform on the first level. Also took off the hammock-thing.

  • Great cat condo, at first...
    Verified Purchase

My cats loved this tree but it didn't even last a year. It started looking bad after about a month. The fabric that covers it looks and feels cheap and cat hair just clings to it. Very hard to remove. The ledges are made of particle board. Repeated jumps on and off by my 2 cats caused several of the edges to break. The small ledge on the bottom was the first to break off. Then the 2 perches on top. One when my poor kitty was sleeping in it. Luckily he wasn't hurt, just freaked out. The "poles" holding up the perches are nothing more that hollow cardboard like tubes. Seriously.... spend a little more and get something that will last. However if you have a thin and small cat with no claws then this might be the tree for you. :-)
