I bought the set of these, water and feeder. It works great. I needed a way to feed my cats while out of town and this product was the answered. It took awhile to the get the handle on filling and moving the containers without spilling everything. My one negative is one the top of the dry food feeder, it doesn't fit correctly and if your not careful it will spill.
Love how much water this holds and that it is sturdy. Only bummer is you literally have to take it apart to add water. I assumed you just unscrewed the top to refill!
I have had the white Ceramic Pagoda Pet fountain for over 3 years and I love it. It stays clean longer if you only use filtered water (NOT distilled --which is very bad for pets or people to drink). You can use one of several types of filter pitcher to fill your fountain, and suing filtered water means that you can go longer without having to clean the fountain, and your filters last longer. This fountain is so elegant that I keep it on a wide stone window-sill where I can enjoy looking at it in the kitchen (but not where sunlight strikes it, as this will encourage algae; which is harmless but not sightly.) Sometimes I float a (non-toxic!) flower like a pink on the water, which the cat enjoys watching or pulling out just for fun. I only leave the flower in a few hours so as not to let the stem start to rot. The Cat loves the whole idea.
This is my third waterfall and I had to go with this one because one of my cats is allergic to plastics (common in cats according to my vet). The ceramic is heavy so should last but if you drop it you will break it, unlike the plastic or stainless steel ones. I looked at the SS waterfalls but there are too many cheap plastic connectors compared to the ceramic. The pump is a standard Petsafe pump (my have all lasted long times) but the pump flow rate cannot be controlled like the plastic type waterfalls so the water pours at a faster rate. This makes the sound of falling water louder, which I find pleasant. Plus I have 3 cats so the sound of water falling is not a stress inducer. The cats all like this new model and my water cat loves sticking his face down into the center hole where the water comes out. Makes him sneeze but he always goes back for more.
