What was hard to tell on my monitor, is that the color you're ordering isn't on all the wires of the cage. Only the parts of the cage were the blue and the other were white. To me this was unattractive. The plastic is a little cheap but for a smaller bird it would do. I returned it. For the price the product I don't feel you get a solid item.
I have two parakeets and they love the freedom to fly around their cage. I still let them out to get some longer flying time, but they do not want to stay out for the hours that they needed with a smaller cage. That being said there was some problems with the cage and how hard it is for one person to put it together. The main problem with the cage is that some of the solder points on the cage bars came loose; particularly, near the many doors. The many doors are needed to reach into all the areas of the cage. I had to re solder 4 or 5 points to make the cage safe for my birds. The next problem was with the cups provided with the cage: one had the clips broken off, and because the bar spacing is not even it is difficult to find a set of bars that the cups fit into. Finally, the bottom of the cage has a tray and a grate on it. I cannot take them both out at the same time to take them outside to clean them. One part at a time is the only way to clean them. When the grate is removed there is a rather large gap between the cage bottom and the bottom bar of the cage; I would be careful of having small birds like finches in the cage because this is an escape point when cleaning the cage. I worry that my parakeets will discover it.
This is my second time buying a Prevue cage...others have been difficult to assemble, but not the Prevue cages. It's very roomy for my bird and it looks really nice. The only negative I can give is the feed cups are too deep. I replaced them with shallower cups.
