These flannel sheets are awesome! I debated whether to get them because I've never had flannel sheets before. I'm so glad I made the purchase and now won't sleep on anything else. The sheets are 6 ounces per square yard or approximately 200 grams per square meter. They're also made in Germany under **** standards (i.e., environmentally-friendly production standards). You'll be hard pressed to find flannel sheets of this quality for this price anywhere else. I originally bought the silver-grey color in the king size. My organic latex mattress is only about 8 inches thick, so I had no trouble getting the fitted sheet to fit. The silver-grey color is darker than what you'll see on your screen. However, I still love the color. When I first received the sheets, I washed them with vinegar, as one of the other reviewers had suggested, with no detergent or fabric softener the first time on the delicate cycle in warm water and dried them on low/no heat with no dryer sheet. They took an hour to dry and the lint filter filled up pretty bad, but the sheets were soft as a baby's blanket when I was finished. After sleeping on the sheets for a few nights in ultra-comfort and softness, I had to buy another set. I then purchased another king size set in the camel color. Camel is a deep gold/beige color, not too bright and not too dark. I love it! Finally, a few months later, the sheets were still on sale and went down in price another *** so I bought another king size set in the sage color. This was one of the last colors left in the king size. Sage is now my favorite color. It is a light, celery green and goes great with my other bedding. I've had no problems with pilling or shedding with these sheets. They wash up like a dream. However, I do make sure to wash them separately from all of my other laundry on the delicate cycle in warm water and always dry them on low/no heat, again separately from all of my other laundry. The reason I ended up buying 3 sheet sets is because I did some research and realized you can sleep on flannel sheets year-round. These are 100% cotton, so they breathe. They keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Even in the winter under a thick down comforter/duvet, they aren't too warm. The flat sheet can serve as a substitute blanket in the spring/summer months. So with silver-grey, camel, and sage being relatively light, neutral colors, I can mix and match the top sheets in the spring/summer to create contrasting bedding/blanket options. Of my other two pima cotton sheet sets, one is being retired (used for guests only) and the other is going to serve as my fourth spring/summer sheet set.
My two and four year olds girls got these bean bags for Christmas. They loved them then and still do, 8 months later. One of them has "deflated" some and I am looking for some kind of bean filler to puff it back up. But overall, they are in good shape and are holding up well. They get daily use by my girls, and the 70 pound dog occasionally naps on them too. I like that the cotton is organic as we try to be a very CLEAN household and limit our exposures to pesticides, chemicals, etc. Hard to do with all the kid stuff, but that was an added bonus of these bean bags.
Just bought a new memory foam mattress...sales person tried to talk me into buying one of their waterproof pads, but it was much more expensive than this one and felt like gortex. Got this one which actually makes the surface of my new mattress feel better and you cannot tell it is waterproof at all. Very happy with this purchase.
I bought this product to put on our kids bed in case of an accident. I put a mattress pad under it for comfort. This product is great, when the accident did occur it saved both the pad and the mattress from stains. The product is easy to wash and does not change after washing like some products that I have used previously. I would buy this again for any mattress for kids for accidents or spills.
