I've only had this vacuum for a few days and it seems to perform properly. One thing . .The wire Is long and there is only one fixture rather than the usual two to wrap it around. You have to use the lift handle for the bottom fixture. Makes it a little sloppy. I'll live with it.
We run a bed and breakfast and when cleaning the cabins, we have to hike or take the quad. Having the vacuum on your back is wonderful. The hose attachment is long and the extending metal part is perfect for small corners and easy to adjust when needing to reach up high. Our accommodations are small so having the vacuum on your back is great for mobility. The suction is powerful and this continues after months of use in dusty area. The vacuum we used in the house has been parked. The house is large and so for the opposite reason of the cabins, having the back pack is great when vacuuming the house because your dragging along the canister which falls off of the stairs and catches on just about everything. No more dented furniture, no more having to lift the canister along the way. The vacuum head is light and this is awesome for stairs, the best ever when you have lots of stairs. Great for tile and hardwood, could use a better rotating head for carpets, but the suction is strong, hasn't been a problem.
I always buy this kind of vacuum at overstock .com because it's very durable and the price is reasonable. And also every time I bought this item at overstock.com I got rewards too. I already recommended this vacuum to all my friend who owns a hotel and they already buying it.
