For a large desk in a living-dining area, two of these chairs take up minimal room while providing the pleasures of mobility, tilting, and arm rests. Mesh was chosen because cats seem to claw at it less than regular upholstery, and many office chairs have scratch synthetic coverings that are unpleasant in warm times: these are comfortable. They were relatively easy to assemble, which isn't always the case, so that's definitely a plus. Be warned: the recommended weight limit is 250 lbs., which could well present a problem for many male and some female users. With the important reservation about the weight limit, the chair is recommended.
It looks nice, but I won't call it executive chair. The plastic used looks and feels cheap, but I just used a plastic wipe that I use to clean my car dashboard and looks much better now. Leather is synthetic and it looks as such. Assembly is fairly easy with only few screws to tighten via the allen wrench. Chair is light and there s not a lot of padding, but it is comfortable though. Gas lift provides height adjustment, but there is no leaning support provided in the chair, so back can feel a little stiff.
