I like that I purchased a larger shredder. I had a small Fellows shredder before and used it to death. I knew the brand "Fellows" would get the job done and it does. Always make sure to remove staples - don't want to damage the machine. On my smaller version if you used it for approx. 20 mins. it would heat up and need a break, so it would stop, and then once it cooled off, it was ready to go again. Also I have to admit on the smaller version, the paper would get jammed up from time to time and I would have to pick it out by hand. I haven't given this new larger version the workout yet, so probably has the same feature (might help if I read the instructions). Shredding your personal paperwork is a must and it gives me peace of mind. I really like the fact with this larger version that I don't have to dump the paper as frequently. Also it does have a much wider feeder for the actual shredding. I am using this for home use, but would be great for business too. This is a good purchase for the money.
Bought this one because it shreds a lot at once. Good size basket under it and the handle to pick up the shredder is great. I set to work on shredding 8 years of stored papers and 3 weeks later still shredding and still loving the shredder. I oil the blades every other time I empty the basket . This is the 3rd shredder I've had and so far the best features, ease of use and good amt. at once. I've already recommended this to a few other people.
Did a lot of research before picking this one. Wanted one for the right price, but it also had to be dependable and could handle my needs for privacy. I love it so far.
We put it on the kitchen countertop where we usually put her mail after picking it up from outside. That way all of the stuff gets shreddedi easily. I can hold up to the heavy amount of mail we received.
