The controller did work although the box was open and showed slight signs of use. I have had no problems with the controller yet but was dissatisfied that it was open.
this thing is awesome, has some weight to it, feels sturdy, two of the wheels don't rotate, but that doesn't bother me, at least the other two do and have locks. I use it as a desk for homework, moving a lot of heavy stuff and for my dj gigs. Perfect utility cart for my needs. love that it folds down to a dolly like feature.
My children love the Hot Dots alphabet cards. I am a pediatric occupational therapist and it is a great activity to work on grasping, visual discrimination, letter recognition, form constancy, and visual motor integration skills. For parents it is a great activity to work on independent learning and play, as the pen provides feedback as to whether or not the chosen answer is correct. My kids love when it lights up and makes a sound. If you want to do this activity in a quiet area, you can even turn the sound off and just see red or green lights to notify the child if the chosen answer is correct. The only thing I would change would be to have an option to only provide positive feedback (lights and sound) when the chosen answer is correct versus providing lights and sound for incorrect answers as well. I believe this would encourage increased attention to the task in a more desperate attempt to receive the auditory and visual feedback on the first attempt. Overall, I would recommend this product!
