This paper trimmer works well to cut through an assortment of papers and card stock. It's great for a variety of craft projects, as well as school or office tasks. This trimmer has markings in both American and European measurements. It makes it easy to line up your paper to cut a variety of sizes and angles. According to the box it can cut up to 8 sheets of paper at once. The website description says 10 sheets. Either way, it worked well for my papers and business cards, as well as some craft projects I was working on. It is lightweight, yet feels sturdy, and has a safety guide for your protection. It did not come with any sort of paperwork or user manual, but it wasn't too hard to figure out.
I love using this product. I do a lot of cutting for my projects each week, approx. 1500 sheets. This trimmer makes my job much easier. it is very user friendly and much safer than other paper cutters I have used. I highly recommend this product.
It is a nice compact unit. It is very lightweight and easy to move around. I really like the measurement markings and the degree markings. The paper hold in place very well when you go to cut it. The blade is super sharp and leaves a nice straight clean cut edge allowing you to cut multiple pieces of paper at one time. I recommend this paper cutter for anybody looking for a small paper cutter that can be left in a desk drawer for home or office. It's a great product for the price.
I have been needing to replace my current paper trimmer for a while notw and this seems to do the trick very well. It is similar to my other one which also had the rotary blade that slides along the rail to keep the cuts straight and neat. The trimmer on the box says that is can cut through 8 sheets of 80GSM paper or online it says it can cut through 10 sheets of 20lb paper.I don’t usually cut that much at once since I still have not found a way to keep all my pages straight while stacked and usuallly I am just cutting one oor two sheets at a time. Some of the pros to this cutter are that the board is marked with multiple measurements for common sized cuts although most of them are in metric rather than inches for the USA. This is not so say that inches are not on there it is just not a prominent and slightly confusing until you ralize which marks are which measurement. To be fair these are from a company based in Autraila so they use metric which is the reason it is more promeniently marked. Another pro is that the board has raised edges much like many others that allow you to get your papers straight on at least on side. Another pro I like on this cutteris the fact that it has a plasctic guide so that you can not put too much paper under the cutter at once. Depending on what you like the size of the bard may be a pro or a con. My last board would hold paper bigger than a standard 8.5x11. This one is only about 6.25 inches wide but will still hold a 13 inch paper. The best most beneficial selling point is the fact that the blade is completely covers except where it actually cuts the paper. This is great because it keeps you fingers from getting. This feature alone helps it stand out from most if not all its competitors. 4 stars for a good product.
