This is a good table for the price. It is definitely a step-up from a *** or *** build-a-table but not as nice a hardwood table. It is solid wood but soft wood. And there is some assembly but once together, it is a solid, nice-looking table. Shipping from Overstock was super fast. There were a few nicks on the wood but I don't know if that was from Overstock handling, packaging from the manufacture, or other source. Overall, I'm happy with the quality and size of the table for the price, and assembly wasn't too difficult.
They match well the desk that I have in my reception area, Assembly was very easy. I will suggest keeping the order small enough to avoid Overstock's frieght shipments though. (Most of my frieght orders are damaged) I ordered two of these and they came via UPS in perfect condition.
This is a good looking and solid enough piece of furniture at a very good price point. The step-by-step instructions that come with it for how to assemble it are not well thought outand make the assembly process way more cumbersome than it needs to be. Instead of starting the assembly at the bottom by attaching the legs to the shelves and then attaching the top last, it is a whole lot easier if you start with the top piece, turn it upside down and attach the legs to it, then attach the first shelf and then the bottom shelf. If you try to follow the instructions the manufacturer provides, you can't get your hands into position to tighten any of the connections because the shelves are only 6.5 inches apart.
