I was researching for a chair to our home office and this chair stood out from others because of it's Versailles-cherry finished wood base and arms. My wife likes it very much and It added a kind of beauty we were looking to our home office. I was a bit hesitant to order it online because I read few comments from other folks that it tends to incline to one side and doesn't stand straight but ours is standing starlight and doesn't have such kind issues. Assembly instruction manual was clear and it was easy to assemble the chair. It took me a little bit more than 30 min because it took me sometime to align and screw the arms to the leather seat. They don't align easily because the leather tends to cover the holes where the screws should go. The only reason I gave it 4 starts is because of this reason. I believe the manufacturer can easily improve this finishing quality and provide a clean hole to screw to which will save assembly time.
Received it quickly. Assembled it in about 20 minutes. Was hoping for the black in the picture but it was more of a brown color. Still, for the price it's a quality chair with very nice finishes and fits perfectly in my office. I will be getting another to match.
Item was described as "upholstered in thick red, white or black fabric" but chair that arrived was more of a pleather material. Fit and finish looks like a more expensive office chair. I replaced the carpet casters with upgraded rollerblade casters more compatible with a tile floor. I'm skeptical the faux leather will hold up as well as the "thick black fabric" but, for now, it looks great. The chair's a keeper. By the way, if any parts require replacement, Boss includes an item/order sheet in the box.
This chair is the best of mid-century style with comfort and ease. It takes 20 minutes to put together. The walnut is beautiful and the leather is soft. It's a steal at this price.
