I used these to label a playing board I had painted on a wall. The label applies clear and sticks. I do note that my paint finish is semi-gloss and the labels are glossy -- you are able to discern the difference in the shininess of the label
It did take me a few tries to format my labels, but I did use a picture and overlay text. The finished product is so beautiful and I use these for all of my products. I have received so many compliments on the texture and appearance of these labels. The stay true to color and the ink stays sharp. I am a huge fan and will continue to use these whenever I can!! Thank you Avery for making these!!
These are the perfect size for wide mouth canning jar lids (use the 2" label for regular mouth). With the Design & Print Online tool I was able to create such nice labels for my canned goods that people asked if I had a shop! I didn't have a whole lot of luck with the downloadable template, it got me awfully frustrated, but the online tool worked well. The labels stay on the jar lids very well, even in the refrigerator, and I've been exceedingly pleased at how little even the water-base inkjet ink smears if the label gets a bit damp. ProTip: print your label design on plain paper before putting the label sheet in the printer. Then lay the paper on the label sheet and hold them both up to strong light. You will be able to see if the print lines up the way it ought or if you need to make adjustments. This way you do not waste pricey labels if your formatting is off.
