If you are still using that free, rubber, give-away mouse pad with somebody's logo on it, Stop! This leather mouse pad is a ridge board, covered in leather, and a felt-like material on the bottom. It is very handsome, compliments the wood of the my desk, and may very well be the last mouse pad I'll ever have to buy. For a desk that looks like an executives, I highly recommend this mouse pad.
I have tried a fair amount of mouse pads in the past, most were decent, this one definitely falls under that category as well. When I first saw the price on it, I didn't think it'd be worth the investment. However I still wanted to try it out so I bought it and after a month of owning it, I'm enjoying it quite alot.
About a week after my fingers started tingling (right hand) I realize I had been struck with the dreaded "carpal tunnel syndrome." It was probably complicated by a touch of aging-by-the-minute arthritis. I haven't consulted a doctor yet, but have received what seems like whole books of advice. The first thing I did was put a cushion under my rear. The second was ordering this product, which supports my wrist and makes sessions at the computer more comfortable (once I adjusted to the mouse maneuvering). Everyone computer shopper should have one of these. I was also told to cut back on my computer time, but please.
