when i first decided i wanted a proper mount for my monitors, i imagined something something similar to this. i was building a custom computer desk and found this. it works absolutely great while clamped onto a regular tabletop, dont get me wrong. but i adjusted my desk to support the clamp from under the tabletop and poke up through a hole. this was a fairly cheap mount compared to most, but its simplicity was perfect for what i was looking for. you'll get a tighten/loosen bolt on each joint to be able to lock angles if needed, or to leave them to swing. i cant really think of anything else i would really need in a mount, i dont think i would look for something else if i needed another mount.
I started out looking for a place where I could use bitcoin for my purchase. Overstock.com has won me as a loyal customer because of their customer service. The monitor arrived when they said it would. It was in perfect condition and exactly what I expected. Thanks Overstock! I am using it right now!
This is extremely useful piece of stuff for holding two notebooks with closed lids and monitor over the top. I work from home and this stand helps me to save lot of space on my table top. I connect monitor to 2 my notebooks and put it on the top of the stand, while put notebooks below it. So stand serves as a kind of server-stand for blade servers. The only con is that actual stand color is not metallic, but light gray-green, not as it seems on product picture on site. Anyway, it with my home-office environment really good.
