  • Great piece of office furniture
    Verified Purchase

I have not used this as a computer desk yet. I use it to do other things. I bought it so that I can stand more and not have to sit so much. I put furniture together frequently. It went together fairly easily for me, just read the instructions well and make sure you understand. It looks good and I am pleased with it.

  • GREAT Computer Desk

I have had my desk, purchased from Overstock for 4 yrs. I have used it both as my computer desk and also as a craft work desk. It has fit both duties perfectly. Easy to adjust, stable, great size, holds a fair piece of weight. I have a 32" LCD TV as my main monitor on the back shelf, and my laptop, on the right hand side of the front shelf as the second monitor. There is room for disc storage, a plant, desk "stuff", etc on the other shelves. I am looking to buy a second one, since I still need a craft/sewing work space. It is especially important for me to have the main work area adjustable, as I am very short-waisted and due to back problems, must sit on my couch to work, putting me at about 23 " for working height. I have not seen anything else with this versatility.

  • Surprised!!!
    Verified Purchase

Since colors are not available when buying a product, I assumed that the description of this computer stand as medium cherry would actually be similar to another cart I purchased from you that was dark cherry. What I actually got was a stand that is BRIGHT ORANGE!!! I have never seen a piece of furniture that is this color. I am trying to adjust but it is really like a pumpkin. On the other hand, it was reasonable to assemble and works pretty well, but the color is really a distraction and a detriment to the product and incorporating it into the room/office decor.

  • Nearly a really great desk
    Verified Purchase

Looks good but as the previous reviewer suggested it is not stable.Basically they used cheap plastic supports for the shelves on the desk instead of metal and they are _not_ stable. When I type the desk shakes a bit which is very annoying. You can adjust the front shelf fairly easily but again the plastic shelves make it flimsy. Also the shelves do not stay attached to the plastic well at all so you can't hold it while you adjust or it comes off.If the supports were not plastic I would definitely consider this a 4-5 star product.

  • Looks ok - will it last?
    Verified Purchase

Assembles pretty easy. Bottom cross piece was completely missing from the directions. Shelf supports are plastic, with the shelfs just sitting on them. Theres a side to side wobble. Will it last? Sure hope so. Dont expect to use it as a computer table. I think the constant banging away on the keyboard would eventually weaken it. I like the way it looks, and very versitile in arranging the shelves. I use it as an open rack for the pc and peripherals. Works nicely. I'd recommend it if you dont expect to move it around much.
