The Cotytech is a really nice under-desktop-mounted tray made of solid components. I especially like the wrist pad, which is gel encased in some kind of slippery synthetic covering. Installation took 5 minutes using an electric screwdriver. Screws are provided. Note: while made of quality steel, the unit is a little springy feeling because of its lightweight, slim design, which took me some getting used to. This is compared to absolutely rigid under-desktop systems that I'm familiar with at work. So I'm sure it's just me. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase. The system's great.
This keyboard tray works well. It can be installed in three positions (to adjust how close it sits to the bottom of the desk.) Easy to install. The only thing I wish for is an articulating mouse pad. It is set back a wee bit which doesn't feel like a natural place when acutally using the mouse. Overall, good solid keyboard tray. No need to spend a fortune.
I didn't even try installing this. I bought my desk from the O and I would have had to attach this tray to the bottom of the desk drawer. It's too bad they didn't say how much this thing weighs in the description because this thing is heavy. If you read my review on the desk I bought from the O, it's a great desk but the drawer has issues. I think if I attached this to the drawer, it would have ripped out the bottom of said drawer. This tray is HEAVY. Not only would the weight of this thing stress that drawer but on top of it would be me pounding on a keyboard... recipe for disaster. So I sent it back without even bothering to install. Buy only if you have a solid piece of wood on which to install this. That being said, I believe that this would have been a high quality product-- just because it seemed very sturdy and well built.
