I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Balt chair. I looked at all the top ergonomic brands at various stores around my city before purchasing it. I have had two back surgeries so it was important to find a comfortable, supportive chair to use at my computer. My husband wanted me to get the name brand chair he has at his office, but I was not interested in spending well over $600. When the chair arrived, I was surprised at the weight of the materials. Everything is very well made. It is easy to put together, and only requires about six steps. Everything lines up just as it should. There is a sturdy 5-armed, chrome-plated, spider base, with casters that roll easily. In my opinion, it is as solid and well-made as any of the other ergonomic chairs I looked at for two or even three times the price. The only other comment I would make is that the chair is large....not that it takes up lots of space, but the seat is on the large side. I think a petite person might find it more chair than he/she wants. Everything is adjustable, except for the dimensions of the seat...so you might find the arms too far out if you yourself do not have a "wide" body. All in all, I think it is a very good price for a well-made, adjustable, ergonomic office chair.
I've been through a bunch of chairs as many look great online but are incredibly uncomfortable once they arrive. I can tell you this chair is very comfortable and has great back support. The chair is well made and has a great modern look.
I am sitting in the chair now. It is very comfortable, especially with a chair pad. A neighbor of mine has owned one of these chairs for years so I expect it to last. Delivery was prompt. Chair assembly required.
I've been using this chair for about a month now and I love it. I'm 5ft 10in and this chair fits me perfectly. It supports my body in an upright position all day at work. I have some lumbar disc issues and this chair is definitely comfortable for me. No more slumping forward over my pc in tiny mid-back chairs. The headrest is also a nice touch. There are several places to make adjustments including each arm, seat height, head rest height, seat tilt, and level of lumbar support. I also like that the mesh allows your back to breath so no more sweaty backs or sitting on a cold seat because of the weather. The cons are, well, I don't think this is the sturdiest chair around but to get that you'd probably have to look in the $1000 price range. Also, because of my disc issues, the highest level of lumber support could have been higher for me.
