  • Most uncomfortable Seat I have ever experienced
    Verified Purchase

Although it looks so contemporary and stylish, the seat has very little padding and hurts the rear end in less than an hour. You cannot raise and lower the back to have the lumbar fit where you need the support, it hit me low in the back and I am a 5'8 female. I sold it for half of what I paid for it on craigslist just to get it out of my office! I think a buyer would have to be 5'5 and under 130 lbs for this chair to be even half-way acceptable.

  • Wonderful desk or sewing chair!
    Verified Purchase

I bought one of these chairs for my sewing room. It's really helpful to have the arms that flip up and down because for some sewing tasks, you need the arm rests but for others, it's nice to get them easily out of the way. I had seen and tried out a similar chair in a local big-box store but it was more expensive than's price, plus that chair was boring black mesh - this burgundy one is so much prettier! The back support is excellent. In fact, I loved the chair so much that I bought another one, exactly the same, for my computer area. There is a bit of a learning curve to getting the back attached to the chair, but I was able to put it together myself by propping it onto a stationary surface. It took some maneuvering but worked out well. I highly recommend this chair.

  • Nice and affordable office chair

The assembly of the chair was a bit clutzy and could certainly be done better with two people. Once assembled and rolling it is a nice office chair in which I have comfortably spent a few hours at a time.

the color is not as bright as it looks in the picture, its slightly darker, which is fine with me because it matches my red wall. its very solid and sturdy so i can tell it will hold up pretty well. I had a hard time putting it together because of the awkward way i had to hold the bottom of the seat to get the silver back support connected. you have to be creative and flexible in your movement because the screws go in at an angle--which means no visibility so i think they could've done better with the assembly. it took me longer to put what should've been a simple chair together. but im pleased with the final product. it looks great and forces me to sit properly.

  • This chair changed my life!
    Verified Purchase

In 1989, a rear-end automobile accident damaged my lumbar spine. Since then, I have not been able to sit (in anything other than an overstuffed reclining chair) for more than an hour at a time. Worse yet, previous office chairs pinched my thighs [6 feet, 300 pounds], and did not provide effective lumbar support. As soon as I sat in this Focus Office Chair, I felt sharp lumbar pain, because it forced a proper spinal curve and correct posture! That was how I knew I had finally found the right chair! After a couple of days, the pain subsided. Even better, after a few hours in this chair, when I stand up, I feel stronger and more stable, and walking is easier. This chair has actually improved my overall health!

  • Pretty chair

The comfort is ok. The armrests were in the way so I put them up as it is adjustable. The color is pretty though.
