If you do a lot of color printing you will be happy with these canon compatible cartridges. My only complaint was printing photos from my computer. The color was not up to the quality I experienced from the Canon cartridges. It's hard to pass this up because of the price difference but in this case, you get what you pay for. The most expensive part of owning a printer is the ink. So if photo quality is important, I would not use this product. It could be that I used a different photo paper but I don't think so. If you want premium quality photos, stick with the manufacturer's ink, not a generic brand.
