This is a good item but the fact that a CPU cannot fit underneath the shelf is a negative for me. I have to sit the CPU on the floor because the cords would not permit the stand to be inside of the shelf. Also, the CPU is too large for the space it fits too snug if the cords are not attached and the on button or the CD slot cannot be pressed nor opened. It was a good concept to have a corner table for a computer but the execution was a slight fail. My computer chair cannot fit in the space because the computer is sitting right in front of the table instead of inside the shelf. The good thing, is that it does have a slide out keyboard part. The desk came as directed, it has a black wood finish, it is sturdy, and the assembly was not hard at all. It brought two extra triangular pieces which we tried to figure out what it was for and the instructions nor the pictures suggests where these pieces connect to. If you have a small CPU stand or a monitor that already comes attached with the CPU then this desk is great and on sale its even better. Otherwise skip this if you still own the throwback CPU system. Maybe in 2018 all computer CPU's will be miniatures and can fit in this space comfortably.
The item itself is nothing spectacular. Difficult to assemble and serves its purpose. Also, once assembled, the door for the CPU tower doesn't sit quite right. The item was defective once it first shipped. I would have provided I higher rating if it included customer service also. The customer service representatives were wonderful in assisting me to replace the defective item. I appreciate their time and attention to my matter.
I was nervous buying this online. Not sure how hard it was going to be to put together. It took my husband and I about three hours to put together. All parts were included, labeled and easy to put together. Even has extra screws. I love this. I have a desk top computer so its like getting extra storage on the other side, too.
Great inexpensive desk with a lot of storage space. Although the number of pieces looks overwhelming when you start, if you go through the manual section by section sort everything out into groups (drawers, cabinet with door, etc.), it's remarkably easy to assemble. Just make sure you have a power screwdriver!
