When I was working- I brought a coffee machine in to my office. Everyone used to come and get from my coffee, as it was Folgers, and much better than Company coffee. Thus not only was it and still is the best coffee but I had many, many friends as I had supplied everyone with " The Best Coffee in the World " even the Co. bosses and owners. And to this day, retired, that is all we drink in my house. BUT- be sure to use good, clean, cold water. Do not start with hot water, for short cut, as this will pick up impurities from the house water line. The water one uses is important for the quality of the coffee.
If you do any sort of catering, feeding large crowds at potlucks or family - this bowl is for you! Holds a ton, doesn’t stain or transfer flavors. I store it in the garage. Looks great on the table. For reference: Caesar salad it holds 12 heads of Costco romaine lettuce cut up, one pound of shredded Parmesan and two pounds of shredded chicken with room for tossing and serving utensils.
We started drinking this when my hubby got colon cancer. The Dr.'s at our cancer center recommended it. Its smooth, mellow, never bitter (even black) ... the rich flavor that never upset his stomach. We are still drinking it, 2 years clear of cancer and counting! (Its just very hard to find locally)
