We needed something we could use in my clients room to hang her pictures! she lived in a nursing home and we couldnt leave and marks on the wall. These strips were perfect to use. when she passed away all we had to do was pull on the bottom and they came right off the wall without leaving any nail holes in the wall.
I try to keep this glue on hand at all times. It's the most useful adhesive for just about everything: glueing down a loose vinyl tile, repairing an air mattress leak or tear, even shoe repairs, Since it is a thick gel and remains flexible after it dries, you can repair things with this adhesive that you wouldn't want to try with the liquid super glue-types.
I live in an apartment that does not allow nails in the wall due to the fire alarm system being wired through the wall so I needed a way to hang up some of my art on the walls. I like these but they do tear the pain right off the wall if you need to move them. Be very gentle or you will take a piece of wall with you! Other than that they work great!
I hate holes in the walls so until a few years ago there are very few pictures hanging on my walls at home. Holes in the walls leave the wall so tacky looking. For the longest I refused to hang anything and would try to conjure up a way to hang things without nails... then I came across Command Strips. OMG! I almost went crazy! I love these things. I have used them to hang my 32 sq ft. business boards on my walls. (That's the full length of a large wall). And when I'm ready to take my board down or replace it I don't have to worry about a mess or looking at those horrible, tacky holes in the wall. Thank you 3M. P.S The next genius idea is mine. LOL.
