So like most families with small children we go through tons of AA and AAA batteries. It seems like most if not all their toys use them. We had switched to rechargeable batteries recently because it was getting really expensive to keep up replacing them constantly. I like the Quantum batteries so far. We have used them and not had to replace one yet. Usually by now something is out of juice. I like that I don't have to worry about keeping spare batteries on hand when we are traveling because something is empty. So far I have been very pleased with our usage and the length of the batteries. AA are very expensive to keep up with when you have little toys constantly using them! I am looking forward to using the other sizes with the Quantum batteries.
When I received my Duracell Quantum AA batteries in the mail, I did expect that they would batteries, but they definitely exceeded my expectations by far. I decided to try the AA Duracell Quantum batteries in my daughters Mobigo portable game system and store brand AA batteries into my sons Mobigo game system. Immediately you could tell the difference in power. Yes, both brand’s batteries powered the game systems, but Duracell Quantum batteries not only powered they system; it brought it to life. The screen was brighter, the sound was louder. Also, with regular daily game play, the store brand batteries would be dead within a week. So far, we are going on about two weeks and the Duracell Quantum batteries are still going strong. These batteries might cost a little more than the average battery, but with the extended life of these batteries, they will more than pay for themselves.
This isn't my first rechargeable battery and charger set. I really like this one because it is nice and small, and folds even smaller when not in use. My old charger didn't come with AA and AAA batteries, so that is also a nice bonus, since I have remotes that take AAA and never seem to be able to find any of those around the house. The quick charge time is another great feature. I usually figure I will need the entire day to charge batteries, but I got the AA to charge in just about 90 minutes, which is great. I haven't had the batteries long enough to see how long they will hold a charge, but I am hopeful it will be a long while.
I recently had a chance to test the new Quantum AA Batteries from Duracell. I am happy to report that instead of changing the batteries in my kids toys report every other week, these batteries continue to last. They have already outlived standard batteries by over 50% and they are still going. Duracell Quantum will be my new brand of Batteries going forward.
