This is a phenomenally made stand. Bigger than I anticipated. It has a strange way that the corners screw together -- but is strong as all get out. The power strip on the side is really handy. I am using it at home -- in a basement -- but it looks more like an office or business product. none the less, the black is sleek and I have no regrets.
Yes I bought this to use as a T.V cart and also to hold PlayStation for my 11 yr old , he loves it when he wants to come out of his room and play his games he rolls it out.
And he doesn't have to hooked and unhooked from the living room t.v
He wear headphones so don't don't hear it but we get to see him
In trying to simplify my small office this seemed like possible option. It works just right. **** + small speakers on top shelf, ******** scanner, phone + wireless mouse/keyboard on second. A small woofer, stapler, + tape dispenser on third shelf. On the bottom front I have my wireless ******* inkjet printer, then on the back of that same shelf which is hidden by a panel, an extra (hidden) power strip that connects the wireless router, a scanner, phone, speakers. Then on the power strip that came with the station unit and can be hung on either side of the station, I have the **** and printer hooked up. It all fits pretty nicely in a corner. Plus, the unit has casters so I can roll the whole set/up anywhere I like. It really helped me to downsize. The only negative is that on setting up the second shelf, one of the screws was stripped so I used one slightly larger than was sent and ended up screwing through the board and damaging it on the nice top surface. It still works fine, I covered the spot with packaging tape and glued the screw with Super Glue and it has been holding fine. The phone base sits right on it so no one can see the it. It probably good to have a partner for some of the assembly, too.
We have used this cart for several weeks at work as a projector cart in our conference room. We used the longer extensions to make it taller. It has nice casters that are easy to maneuver and we like the fact that it includes a power strip on the handle. Whether we are using it for the projector, or as a coffee cart, the power strip comes in handy. I don't know how well it would do to take it apart and put the shorter extensions on, however, as you really have to pound the round legs into the flat shelf part. Not a very sexy looking cart, but certainly very functional.
The cart is heavy and well made, rolls easily over hardwood floors. There is some assembly required but it is pretty simple, although it was helpful to have two people just because of the weight of the cart.
