We had a question about this fan (could 2 of them share the same switch, which is included with each fan); we called Matthews Fan Co., they answered the phone immediately and with a couple of minutes the person came back with an answer: no, each fan needs its own switch). They are beautiful, too, though maybe a little more subtle air flow than ceiling fans. We placed 2 on a high beam in the kitchen and the act that they angle down worked perfectly.
Love this fan by Matthews I have a new office that we installed this fan in its pretty and functional. I love that I can adjust the speed with a remote.
Love the fan! Saw it at a customers house and had to have one! I got mine with the LED light kit – the only option I would suggest is a dimmable light. It only requires one powerline for both the light and the fan and the unit operates off of a remote rather than a wall switch.
Everyone that comes in the newly remodeled room comments in awe of this fan. Really good looking and when on high setting spins both propellers and the entire fan! Think about the second option with the cages if this is going to be low where anyone can potentially touch it. Could be dangerous in that situation. Powerful fan for sure!
