Super thick leather, a bit heavy for women to carry. Not good if u have walk far, it gets heavy if filled.

  • Black bag for medical house calls
    Verified Purchase

This year I made a change in my career pathway, and started making medical house calls. My previous black bag was worn out, so I shopped for something that would be both attractive and functional. Although described as a Litigator's bag, it holds my necessary medical supplies (and my medical ipad!). It is very well constructed and rugged. Highly recommended!

  • Laptop Bag is good, but not great!!!

I am a trial lawyer that regularly takes my laptop and iPad to court, as well as a large case file. I did not want a huge bag or rolling brief, but at the same time, I did not want something too small. I thought this would be a nice medium. However, it is not very roomy and is quite heavy. My wife, also a trial lawyer, used it to keep her files together when she had to fly to another location. It was too heavy for her (on the heavy side, do mostly to the quality of the craftsmanship) and at the same time did not provide a lot of room for her laptop and associated electronics, and her case files. Now, in defense of the briefcase, she does Workers Compensation with files that tend to be larger than not. As for me, I cannot take my laptop, iPad, and files; just not enough room. It is wel padded, but all of the padding takes up room that could take the place of files. I have a special appearance soon and will see what happens when my large file needs to go to court with me...

Good design, easy to use, and attractive. Nice leather. My last briefcase lasted 20 years. I expect to get at least that from this one.

Gets lots of compliments - great briefcase. Gave it 4 instead of 5 b/c the top is a little stiff to open and doesn't open as wide as I would like - but I'm sure over time it will loosen.
