Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 6' 4" son. With his current carry on he had to bend over to wheel it. This bag is perfect. Since it sits upright, the handle is more than high enough to accommodate his height. It wheels smoothly. It can be tilted to operate like a regular 2 wheeled case as well. The zipper opens the top of the bag fully for great access to the interior. The outside pockets also have great access. He hasn't used it on the plane yet so I can't comment on the fit in the overhead bin. However, the dimensions indicate that it shouldn't be a problem. He loves it!
I got this suitcase because the dimensions made it the biggest carry-on I could get. However, the dimensions of 24x16x8 are a bit off. I think they are just for the suitcase itself (or maybe the inside of it), or don't include the wheels because it is a little too big to fit into an overhead compartment on a plane if you try to put it in wheels-first (it has to go in sideways, which takes up a lot more room). So, I would say the actual dimensions are probably closer to 26x18x8. In any case though, this seems like a sturdy suitcase, and I will keep it for future travel.
This case is a well worth the price. It is a good size, and if you will always wheel over a smooth surface, it will be ok. But the wheels are noisy and too small. They can't even get over a crack in the sidewalk
This case is a good size for trips of up to 10 days. The handle and wheels are sturdy. However, I travel frequently and the case is already looking dingy and a little frayed. The zipper pulls on the larger outside pocket came off almost immediately.
