I recently had to pack the largest of these bags full and was over weight by 12 lbs (so 62lbs in total) on my trip from Manchester, England to Chicago. Everything arrived intact, the case held up well. I bought it thinking it would look upscale. My husband described the silver case as something similar to what John Candy had in Planes, Trains and Automobiles. At least it was easy to pick out from most other luggage spinning in front of me at customs. I have no complaints.
I bought this laptop case as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She had told me what she wanted, and it was everything she hoped it would be. It is a very good looking case, and it has the added benefit of detachability. I would say to prospective buyers that the photo does not accurately depict the color; it looked almost white to me in the picure. Luckily, that is not true. The name "sand" is much more accurate than the picture. My daughter spent a few excited minutes going through the case and finding the storage compartments and features. I think anyone would!
I love this luggage set! I used it for a trip to NYC and it held up being thrown around (literally) at LGA. The largest case was packed to the max and only weighed 45 lbs at the airport - AWESOME. The spinning wheels made it very easy to roll throughout the airport and parking deck. The colors really stand out making it easy to pick out at baggage claim. I would recommend this luggage to anyone looking for a great, affordable luggage set.
The color is the best choice for me due to being easier to spot when picking up your luggage. I just added a pattern duck tape on handle just in case someone else has the same color suitcase. Overall, it has a lot of room inside and protect from spills and crushing your stuff.
