LOVE this suitcase. IKase has done an awesome job with it. I would suggest having a "Solid" Divider / Holder on both sides, inside the case , rather than the straps on one side. When you try and close the case up (bring the two sides together, things fall out. If the one side was like the other side where there was a SOLID, one piece zipper partition / holder, things would stay secure while you open and close the suit case up. Love that you can change out the pic and even ORDER your own custom pic to place in the suit case.
I had one of these suite cases for more than 2 years and wanted to get a second one for my husband to use (needed to replace his old one). These are great!. Perfect carry on size, roll nicely through the airport with shoulder bag on top, and I love the fact they it does expand (even though it is a hard side) for when I "over buy" things to bring home on vacation. I have had to check these a few times as well and they have thus far taken all the abuse the airport bag handlers dish out with only minor scuffs here and there. Would certainly recommend. One thing different on this one I did notice is One side has a band that snaps together to hold your stuff on that side, the other side actually has a zippered cover that holds your items in snug where nothing can fling around. However the zippered side is set down from the top edge of the bag a bit so you actually loose about 1" or so of space to put stuff on this side inside the zipper. (My old one is not like this, the zippered cover is right at the top of the bag on this side). I usually use this space to lay sandals or such, but it would have been nice if they had the zippered closure closer to the top edge.
Love the hard sided case - perfect for carry ons, holds more than you would think, and always slides right into the overhead bins without a problem. Everyone in our family got a different color so it's easy to tell them apart, and everyone can manage their own suitcase throughout the vacation. The big problem (and it ends up being a deal breaker) is the wheels. The very first time we used these we had to walk 1/4 mile to catch public transportation to the airport. By the time we got to the airport, 2 of the 5 cases had wheels that were so damaged you couldn't tilt and pull the bag any more - unless the case is upright, you are literally dragging the case through the airport. This was after walking down a regular sidewalk for 1/4 mile...not cobblestone or an unusually uneven surface. I can't imagine the frustration if we had been on a tour where we were moving rooms day after day and had to drag these along. Overall, I wish I had just put in the extra money and purchased a better brand with more durable wheels.
