  • Very Good Rolling BackPack
    Verified Purchase

Lots of space, with numerous different zippered storage areas, including semi-hidden storage. I use it to carry lunch as well, and one space has a pocket where I put an icepack for keeping items refrigerated (I add another, larger icepack into a plastic bag to protect the actual storage place, and then put the food items inside the plastic bag into storage space.) I mostly use it with the rolling feature, which is very sturdy and useful, and sometimes carry it in my hand with the small carry strap on top. My only problem: to use the backpack option, to sling it over your back, is awkward, difficult and uncomfortable. The collapsible handle (for use with the rolling option) makes the whole thing feel very hard on the back, and the backpack straps do not adjust sufficiently to accommodate my somewhat portly figure.

  • just what we were looking for
    Verified Purchase

we were searching for a roller backpack for our fifth grader. Reasonably priced and after one month of use it has held up very well. The zippers and wheels are smooth.

  • Cal Pak Rolling Laptop Bag
    Verified Purchase

Laptop pocket was unusable fr anything but a tablet or small notebook computer. The quality of workmanship seemed like it would not hold up for long under normal or heavy use. I need something fr everyday transport and this did not meet my expectations. It was immediately returned

  • Okay for a budget price...
    Verified Purchase

I bought this for a round the world trip. The zipper broke on my first leg of 15+ flights. Based on that, I have to say poor craftsmanship. If you're using this for a book or two, probably no issue. But if this is what you are planning on living out of for a couple weeks, I would go elsewhere. Of course, Overstock took care of it and gave me a full refund. Thanks Overstock!!!!

  • Not durable

Pros: Lots of pockets, accomodates my 15" ThinkPad (snugly, but it fits), can be carried as a backpack, fits in overhead on airlines, lightweight, inexpensive.Cons: Not durable. Bought one 4 months ago, use it daily in my commute in Boston. Bearings in one wheel have fallen out, in the other they're badly rusted and squeeky. There's no way to replace them because of single-mold construction. Even before the bearings went the wheels were very loud whether on concrete or on smooth floor or carpet.Seam in the front pocket tore a few weeks ago.Summary: I'd pass on this - it's not inexpensive enough to justify buying a new one every 3 months, especially considering the trash generated by 4 broken bags per year.

  • Disappointing
    Verified Purchase

The laptop pouch on this bag is very small which is misleading since the bag is good size. Nowhere in the description does it say the size of the laptop pouch so I assumed it was equivalent to the measurements given but it is not. A 13 inch laptop is a tight tight squeeze and a 15 inch laptop is impossible to fit in th pouch. Only buy this bag if you have a tiny laptop.
