I was very happy with my Olympia Upright, loved the swivel wheels.Easy to maneuver .Not really heavy empty a BIG plus. Will buy another one soon and give away my old ones.
This is a very nice suitcase. Unfortunately I will have to return it because it is too big to fit in the trunk of the car we have arranged for in Europe. I blame my math skills, not the suitcase.
This upright was purchased because we wanted something large and durable, but not too expensive because it would be subject to the rough treatment of America's airports. So far, it has been on one round-trip flight (with connections) and the edges already look beat up, and one zipper is broken. Is this the fault of the bag designer, or the airports? I do not know. But this is the dilemma: spend a bundle on a super-heavy weight bag and hope it can withstand the mistreatment of the airlines, or buy inexpensive but adequate bags knowing they will need to be replaced. I still have no good answer. Were this bag used for automotive trips, I would probably be quite happy with it. Air travel is awful.
I brought this luggage because I'm a pack rat. I pack everything but the kitchen sink LOL. So I needed a larger piece of luggage for my many trips. I wanted something larger than 30 inches but this is LARGE enough. I'm using it this weekend for the first time (just got it yesterday) and so far I'm very pleased. This luggage is very wide and deep. Very easy to roll and light weight. I was able to put 5 pairs of shoes, 5 outfits, 2 leather jackets and other stuff in the main luggage area, without having to use the "extended" option. So far, I am VERY pleased! Thinking about purchasing another one for my hubby.
