I had purchased a four piece luggage set from Amazon and the first time I used the 29 inch suitcase, the handle broke. I figured there was a warranty, but found out that the Amazon warranty was only good for 30 days. I ordered a different 29 inch suitcase from Overstock.com and it arrived in just a few days. I noticed that this suitcase has a five year warranty. I should have believed the comments which were posted on Amazon stating problems others had with handles breaking, but I thought maybe it was just a fluke. I was wrong. Please read customer comments and take them to heart. It will save you time and money. My new 29 inch suitcase looks great and I have had no problems with it. Thanks, Overstock.com.
I was looking for super light luggage and was surprised when found this Wenger Swiss Gear Expandable Lightweight 28-inch Spinner Upright Luggage with the weight 4.8 lb. When I got it the weight was 4.8 kg which means almost 10lb.
The item is described as a 29" upright suitcase. As soon as I got this delivered, I knew it was NOT 29". I have a 28" upright suitcase and when I put that one and this one side by side, they are the same height. So I measured them, and sure enough, THIS suitcase is ONLY 28" upright. Not only that but it is not very wide either. I thought it would be significantly bigger than the 28" upright I already own, but actually I think I'll be able to get more into my old one. Other than that, the suitcase looks like its good material. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows its misrepresentation. When you're moving your whole life around, flying one state to another side of the country, your measurements of luggage you need are everything.
