After ordering myself a set of the World Traveler Butterfly 4-pc spinner luggage, I ordered my grand daughter the 25" expandable piece for an upcoming cruise. At this time, I am quite impressed with the looks & functionality of this luggage. Be sure to take the outer film off before using.
I purchased the arctic blue which is like baby blue in color. The 25 inch size in perfect for one person who wishes to switch from using soft side luggage.
I already had 2 of this brand in the 28 inch size and I was hoping to find a 25 inch, but could only find this (24 inch) one. My husband and I travel by plane several times a year and for those who fly know the airlines can be quite rough on your luggage! Have had my other ones for 4 years now and they have held up better than any other brand I have purchased (and I have bought a lot of luggage over the years)! Wanted one a little smaller and these hold more than you would think. This will not qualify as a carry-on so you will need to check this bag. The teal color is beautiful, it handles great with the spinner wheels, and you can pack approx. 40 lbs in this and meet the weight requirements on the airlines. It has a small plastic pouch inside( about 10 in x 6 1/2 in), two outside zipper pockets and expands. I can fit enough for a 7 day cruise in it and I use the larger size for longer vacations or ones where you have to pack heavy winter clothes. I do have many hard sided luggage pieces but I miss the pockets on the outside. The Swill Gear brand really does hold up as well as the hard sided luggage.
There are lots of choices for luggage out there. My last upright bit the dust on a longhaul flight from San Francisco to Athens last year. Everything I looked at confused me more and more. I didn't want black. Everything was either too large or too small and this 24" is a great compromise. It will force me to pack efficiently, of course, but I love the interior and some of the simple amenities provided. If you travel, you know what a pain it is to locate something you've packed at the very bottom of your luggage? Zippered, see-though plastic luggage bags are the answer, but the belts provided by this luggage will help keep things tight and in place. I haven't travelled with this luggage yet, but I have started packing for my next trip on May 6. Perhaps another story after my return, but I'm happy with this luggage and the price.
