Design Notes

Scandinavian design earns its calm: pale palettes, honest texture and nothing extra. It suits light woods, white walls and rooms that breathe, and it makes small spaces feel larger. It also reads as modern, so it moves between rooms and schemes easily. The white finish reads as a neutral, so it will not fight the rest of the room. At about 22 inches tall, the shade bottom sits near seated eye level on a nightstand or end table 24 to 30 inches high. Especially at home in the bedroom, living room, office.
