The lamp started flickering and then stopped working after only a few months. It wasn't the bulb (I tried it in another lamp and also tried a different bulb). I think the dimmer switch stopped working.
The lamp itself looks nice. However, after less than 1.5 months of use, this lamp started to flicker each time it was turned on. This flickering got worse and worse over time until it would just turn off completely. I assume it is due to the flimsy nature of the arc, or some defect in the product. From the start there was absolutely no keep the vertical part of the lamp stand from slanting, despite completely tightening the screw. I would not recommend this lamp.

The Orbita 82-inch retractable floor lamp has a heavy-duty base and is adjustable to accommodate your needs. However, the lamp didn't work for us in our space because we misjudged the dimensions of the room it went into. The 15W LED bulb does give very nice light.
So glad I picked this lamp. It fit perfectly with my existing decor and elevated the ambience beyond my expectations. It arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The dimmer switch can easily be reached without leaving the couch. Can't wait until movie night!
Lovely and grand light fixture that adds a presence to my families penthouse. Provides lots of lighting for reading at night and is very attractive to look at. Thanks again Overstock for not disappointing.
We purchased this light for a mountain home where we have an area for a gaming table. We needed a light that wasn't in the way of chairs and this type of light is perfect. We liked the adjustability of the reach of the arch, which you don't often find on these. Light arrived with a small dent in the base, but it was on the back side and the light is in a corner, so it wasn't an issue for us.
Looks great, quality build, extremely heavy base, and the diffuser is a nice touch. ONLY ISSUE IS YOU CANT USE A WIFI SMART BULB WITH IT DUE TO ITS BUILT IN DIMMER SWITCH (even if you turn the dimmer to max bulb will flicker and not connect to your internet) I will be attempting to bypass the dimmer by fiddling with the wires.
This is a beautiful lamp. We needed lite over our dining table. Perfect except we were not successful in trying to retract it a bit. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars
