Does not assemble straight, it leans slightly. The top rim of the bowl is rough metal and not finished well at all. Not great quality. Be careful when unboxing, the packing is very messy! Keep a vacume close by!
I am so impressed with this lamp - it's very sturdy (heavy, solid base) and tall, and looks far more expensive than it was. Easy to assemble (just screw pieces together), non-glaring but bright, nice long cord. Overall excellent! I have it in my bedroom, but it would look great in the living-room too. Came safely packed (the styrofoam was a bit annoyingly crumbly, but that doesn't detract from the product...just needed to vacuum thereafter). Highly recommend!
