The lights are beautiful but one arrived with the glass scratched. The blue is just a light film over the glass. I am so disappointed. Don't attempt to clean the glass or they will be damaged.
Shipping: The item arrived in only a few days after ordering and in a small cardboard box. The internal packaging was heavy duty Styrofoam and totally protected from the bumps and bruises for shipment. Assembly: I am familiar with installing light fixtures, so installation was about 20-3- minutes. If you have not done a light fixture before I recommend a professional installer, so you don't electrocute yourself! I also like the fact you can adjust the length shorter if you want, but not longer unfortunately. Quality: The hanging cable is nice and thick and looks and feel like a quality piece, however, it will take a few days for the hanging cord to straighten out and it come wrapped up in a coil, but it will straighten out! The glass fixture itself is very thick and feel handmade or handblown. Very classy and sheik! I could take or leave the dominant line that runs around the middle of the glass bulb, but it does give it some depth and helps it look a bit more unique. Synopsis: Overall a very nice piece to hang in a small room or office, or even a small foyer or entry way which is where I hung ours. The only drawback is to really get alot of light output I had to use one of those fancy "Edison" filament bulbs with 75 watts. However, if you are looking for a more muted lighting a 40 watt bulb would be great. I would not use a standard led or similar bulb as you can see the bulb clearly and highly recommend an Edison bulb for sure. I would love to see three of four of these in a row in my kitchen for lighting. We'll see. This review was written by a full-time Bed Bath & Beyond employee. I recently got this Modern Blue Rippled Glass Pendant Lighting Fixture, and I'm impressed with its vibrant color and sleek design.
