I originally purchased for my bedroom but I like the color so much I decided to use in my den. Darker gold finish, not bright.

I bought this light for my new office (still in the process of being painted and finished in the photo below). It's super lightweight (making it easier to install), and with classic lines. I love it even more in person....and what's funny is that when my BFF came over to check it out, it turns out she has the same one in her house!
It is more orange than the rest of the brass in my house which really bothered me at first but I've grown to love it. It is very nice looking for the price
As mentioned in another comment the color does come off a bit orange. I did as they recommended and bought some Rubn' buff wax and eliminated some or the orange hue. My husband said it was easy to install and didn't take an additional trip to the hardware store
I really like the shape and more shallow design so it fits larger spaces. It is really heavy and seems well made. The reason I gave 4 stars is because it has a slightly orange hue to the metal. I might get some rub n buff and see if I can make it less orange.
