This lamp belongs in a fancy living room or a not so fancy living room! It really lights up the room having three light settings. Bright, brighter and brightest. I love the shade! It spreads the light where you need it to read or just to enjoy in your cozy living room. Well worth the money. Not cheaply made. I am glad I made this purchase.
Absolutely the easiest thing I have ever put together. You may not even need to read the instructions I could not see in the picture on the website that the lamp pole was in sections. Well don't worry when you put them together, they were machined so well, you can't tell when they are assembled either. Very classic piece for my office. I really enjoy the adjustable are as it allows me to get the light just where I need it to see best. The base is a good weight to keep the item from tipping and has a really nice base that will not scratch my floors. I like the length of cord since my chair is a bit away from the plug. Thank you for that length. I am thinking of getting one for the living room since I read in several locations in my home. It just is the perfect little lamp. The package was well protected with nice thick cardboard over the retail box and the Styrofoam was engineered to stow all the pieces well insulated from the outside and the other pieces. I definitely made the right choice with this one!
