It's a nicely designed lamp but one of the joints isn't threaded correctly so I can't get rid of this annoying gap and it looks like crap. This is the second lamp I've ordered from BBB that has had some quality issue. And the last one I returned, the replacement had an issue too! If it was actually cheap I'd mind a lot less.
Love this lamp. I really wanted one that supported at least two bulbs and had a sturdy base. I was worried this would look and feel cheap at this price point, but it does not at all. It's a nice colored gold/brass and it's a sturdy base that my infant daughter can't knock down.
I dwelled on whether this floor lamp's style was a good fit for me. And I decided to keep it as it's an elegant lamp. In person, it gives a formal vibe which is what made me apprehensive, but I think every home needs at least one piece of a furniture with some elegance. The height is good for the average person and the pull chains has integrity. The base is a hefty slim size, but has a slight wobble which isn't a major issue. Overall nice value lamp.
this is a heavy lamp. Something like this won't be tipped over easily. The shade is just 'ok' and I plan to replace it soon. But overall, I don't regret buying the lamp. In fact, I bought two. Kind of like the old fashioned pull chain to turn the lamp on and off. Takes large bulbs, too, so good as a reading light next to a chair or sofa.
Easy to assemble. Good lighting. Just the right height for the spot in my house.
